My dad and I were talking this morning about my radio station. He mentioned a few songs, one about a boy who hangs out in a bar and gets girls to have one-night relationships, another about an alcoholic drink, and yet another about a black dress(and a white one) hitting the floor, if you get my drift (the people in the song are married!!!!). He said that I should not listen to that radio station anymore, us being Mormon and all that. We judge things by the Thirteenth Article of Faith: We believe in being honest, true, chaste benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men, indeed we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul, we believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things and hope to be able to endure all things, if there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things. He said "How is your music doing according to that last part?" and I said "Not good." So there goes my radio station! No more country music for me.

I'm glad you are learning to be so discerning while you are young, Aubrey. One of my clearest memories of my teen years is throwing away several records that I had that were of questionable moral value. I'm proud of you!! Love, Mom.
